Has anyone got any opinions or experience of the various art hanging systems I might be in the process of renting a shop for a reasonable price for use as framing reception and mini gallery for local artists, any thoughts and advise on this also would be much appreciated, scary stuff going in to the unknown

That's the one I use, the R20 version, with the squeeze hooks.

It's very easy to move around and change when you sell something.

Looked around some local galleries today 50/50 split between using slat boards and the nylon wire hanging systems.
I didn’t realise you can hang more than one picture from the same nylon hanging wires, probably going to go for the R20 if that would be strong enough for average size multiple pictures.

The hanging nylon or metal wire systems are much more flexible.

One consideration you may wish to think about is security. If it is easy for you to put up and take down the pictures it will also be easy for the light fingered brigade.

They are very strong. I have 3 medium sized pictures hanging of some of mine.

Have decided to go for the STAS system mainly because I have seen and tried it and the people I have spoken to that have it are very pleased with it. The J rail is the most common around my area with mixed reviews although apparently now considered a bit dated . Unfortunately I have not been able to see a Newly system which on paper was my first choice although one person I spoke too said he had tried all the systems and said one was a bit fiddly as you needed to push and twist the cable in, he could not remember the name but it sounds like the Newly
