Hello all. I have been picture framing for a family business in north London for nearly seven years. My main area of work is cutting, joining , ordering mouldings and maintaining the workshop and hand finishes (staining/waxing/painting/gold leaf (not the proper stuff)/ some special finishes that I came up with). My background was fine art but I no longer have the inclination to pursue that line of work. Looking forward to learning some tips from the more experienced framers on here.
