How much to string a customers picture frame? I usually charge between £3 and £5 according to the size, which will determine the fittings required and the cord size.

My minimum charge for any work is £5, but that will include a good clean & polish of the frame/glass as well as re-cording/replace eyes with d-rings. if I feel the tape & backing need replacing, double that or more, depending on size.

Stringing frames is a bit of a racquet.

They'll be buying the WIRE and 'D' rings/screws from me - after that it all depends - do I spot anything else that needs doing and do they agree to have it done? Could end up with a total re-frame.

Are they good customers? See above anyhow!

Or are they just people you have never seen before and get the feeling you are unlikely to see again unless it's with another Ikea frame?

So, anyway, from £3 to £0!

Three quid.
That was painless, wasn't it ;)

£2,50 for smaller pictures, £5.00 for larger, if it needs a clean, we will of course suggest that, and charge them a £10 "reframing/glazing charge"
