Scrap mount board.

I have a regular habit of putting my small pieces of mountboard in a box and put it outside the shop with a sign saying free to good homes, and it’s much appreciated by local schools, artists & crafters alike it’s also good for business.
So one guy called in today with a big box & said “I just thought you’d like to see what I do with your free board” took it out & plonked it on my worktop so I just had to take a picture

That is brilliant.
Most of mine has gone to the local Greengrocers for signs. King Edwards 1/6d a pound.
Local schools/therapy groups can sometimes make use. Warn them about the sharp edges.

Awesome - you should send this pic to Art + Framing Today. I'm sure they would print it!
And also add it to the discussion on

The FRAMERS ONLY Face Book site where there was a long discussion about what to do with waste fall outs.

Amazing - imagine what he could do with your scrap mouldings!
BTW, I trust this was done with conservation mountboard

How about giving the guy some old moulding chevrons for roof trusses.
Scrap glass for windows.

Sorry, Keith, I can't find that discussion
Perhaps you would be kind enough to post any new ideas put forward, as I'm sure I am not the only framer who finds mountboard generates the highest waste of all the materials we use.
Thanks in advance.
Peter.

Ricky, is there an interior to it? He might ask you to do some postage stamp-sized frames (wouldn't fancy cutting mounts for those)
