Hi

I have recently had to cease trading and could do with selling off my equipment and materials.

Equipment includes

Morso F with left hand support and spare blades - SOLD
Ultimat Gold 48" with mat support arms - SOLD
Alphagraf 1/M super underpinner with support extension wings- SOLD
Fletcher 3100 Glass/Board Cutter - SOLD
Matboard storage bench with Cantilever Matcutter support- SOLD
+ various small workshop necessities- -SOLD

Materials include roughly

At least 125 sheets of glass- SOLD
At least 150 sheets of backboard - SOLD
At least 250m 0f various finished and barewood mouldings
About 50 sheets of various coloured mountboard- -SOLD
+ various workshop sundries- -SOLD

There is everything needed to set up a framing workshop. All the equipment is in excellent condition and hasn't had much use (haven't had to use spare blades on Morso).

If anyone knows where I might be able to sell this stuff, please let me know

Thanks

Milli

Listing here is a good starting point, but it may help if you put some prices on. There are a number of budding framers here who would buy for the right price!

Ebay can be good for some items. Morsos in good condition generally go for 6-700. Make sure you put a reserve on for the minimum you are willing to sell it for.

Some suppliers will sell second hand machinery: give yours a call to see if they will. They will probably want a cut though.

Hi Milli. Sorry to hear that.

If you want to clear the lot in one go you might try Mitrecraft Wholesale in Lincoln (01522 511322). Not too far away.

Have checked on Storage bench, it is the Keencut Proteus PD02 model with Matcutter supports (pair). I was looking for about £250 for it

Hi Milli,

Sorry to hear you're selling up. It might well be worth contacting Wessex regarding your equipment for sale: they're a well-known source for second-hand equipment. Also, it might be worth letting your supplier reps know that you have kit for sale, as they may be able to connect you with some of their customers looking for the items you're offering.

Wherever you are going next, I wish you the very best of luck for your future. :)

You'd get more selling them separately I think.

Dont think the equipment will be much of a problem, its the materials that might be. We made mistake of buying bulk to keep unit price down. I think we have more value in materials than machinery but its all second hand. suppliers were offering pennies in the pound for them.

Cheers
