Picture Framer – Potential Job Opportunities (Full time or Part time) Chesterfield Derbyshire

Brampton Picture Framing (Chesterfield, J29 M1)
We are interested in looking for experienced picture framer(s) to join our growing team at Brampton Framing.
NB Even if you have little framing experience but have enthusiasm and passion for framing, get in touch since we may take on trainee framers and we may have other roles within the business too.
We offer a wide range of picture framing services from our Derbyshire premises and provide a UK wide mail order service too.
You would be working in a team of several framers, including a GCF Adv Conservation and a GCF Framer, using top quality mitre saws, underpinners and CMC’s.
The work may include all aspects of framing:
- Cutting and joining frames
- Cutting glass
- Cutting mounts
- Hinging work
- Stretching canvas
- Mounting needlework
- Conservation framing
- Framing above average sized work
You may be also be asked to:
- serve customers, give advice on framing
- answer phones, process phone orders and take messages
- book moulding in and out of our warehouse
It’s a friendly place BUT it can be busy and pressured at times; it can be a fast-moving day, and it might not be for everyone!
