I just found out that Microsoft are stopping support for Windows 7 from tomorrow.
I've only got it on an old laptop, but that has my itunes on, plus I'd like to keep it 'alive' as a back-up.
So (if anyone still has any Windows 7 devices!), has anyone found any cheapo fixes, or will I have to stump up £120 for Windows 10. The laptop is not even worth that, so i'd be very grateful for a cheaper solution!

Stopping support doesn't really mean anything, everything will still work as it does now. Nothing lasts forever though if you have applications that require updates then maybe there will be a time what Windows 7 isn't fully supported by your application. Until then I wouldn't panic.
Saying that, I suppose I could keep it offline and just us it for itunes...but that has to update etc.
I'm like you, Peter; I never bothered updating Windows 7. But it is a worry that Microsoft will cease trying to keep ahead of the hackers/malware and all that.
