Hi,hope all is well. I've had a customer needed box frames which are 100mm deep, is there a supplier that does moulding this deep?
also what sort of price would you give for a job like this.
Slowly getting back to customers orders as I placed my glass order two days before the shutdown as we were very low, so i've had my glass delivered today which is great.
During this period I seemed to have made so many ready made frames from moldings that local framers gave us when they retired that I cant find any surfaces to put them!


this is part of the email that they sent regarding the frame, I said Oak would be very expensive so a oak stain will do, also if no off the peg moulding is available what would you recommend the best way.

Number One - For Cake Toppers
5" Long/Length,
5" Wide/Width,
3" Deep/Depth.

Frame Finish: Oak.
Inside background colour (cardboard or paper background): Cream.

This one is to fit Two Cake Toppers.

Actual Sizes of each Cake Topper is:-
4" Long/Length,
4" Wide/Width,
2" Deep/Depth.

Number Two - For Champagne Glasses
10.5" Long/Length,
4" Wide/Width,
4" Deep/Depth.

Frame Finish: Oak.
Inside background colour (cardboard or paper background): Cream.


I am not planning on hanging these up, more to put on a shelf, or sideboard, so it would need to have some kind of stand on the back of the frames if possible.

The only one I know if is the Rose and Hollis barewood Obeche "Very Deep Box" moulding. Have a look on there website.
You won't need a stand for a 100mm deep frame, it will stand up on its own, I would have thought!

Thank you Justin for your reply, I have used them in the past but we had so many damaged mouldings from them in the past and I was just told to accept at least 20% Waste was natural thing. I will give them another go and see if they have improved the quality control.
