I'm currently looking at the Omer VN11.15

If anyone is looking to sell one or something similar, please let me know. If anyone has any suggestions for any other brands, that would be great to know also. I'm finding it difficult to find these online.

Thank you

Hi,

For joining mouldings. Like an underpinner but from above with a corner clamp.

Would you not recommend doing this?

Thanks

Nope. Don't waste your money. Get a Cassese CS88 foot operated underpinner. It will save you a lot of stress.

I Agree! The CS-88 makes a lot more sense. I'm on my second CS-88 and no complaints about the CS-88, it's great!

Depends on your budget and anticipated volume. I'm hoping to upgrade to a secondhand pneumatic later in the year.
I started three and a half years ago with a shiny new Cassese CS1. After a year I decided that there was nothing more I could try, to improve my joins with it. I sold it at a considerable loss and bought a very cheap CS88, gave it a service and cleanup and haven't looked back, it's great!
When I upgrade, I'll definitely keep it as a back up.

The CS-88 is a great machine and you don't need lots of brains to keep working. It's probably one of the best manual underpinners ever made!

Thanks guys,

Part of my issue is the amount of space I have. I might have to go with an Alfamacchine. U300 maybe.

If space is an issue, I can recommend taking a corner of your workbench and fitting your underpinner snug up to the bench. The bench acts as support for longer mouldings.
