Hi Guys
Happy New Year

Looking to get rid of a couple of our older saws and a de-comissioned one soon, and am looking for advice on a saw.

Toss up between the following :

- Cassese 999

- Alfa T400

- Both with the auto-guage, to minimise waste , bad cuts and to help with speed.

I'm interested to hear any views on which should be the saw of choice ?
We cut a lot of stretcher moulding, so we want a bit of speed, but we want this saw to be good for cutting wider, quality picture frame mouldings.

We have an old T350, and also a couple of old 939s , so we are reasonably familiar with these type of saws.
Just interested to get views from any of you guys who have had experience with either the 999, or the T400 ...or both !
Interested also, in the merits or shortcomings of the auto-guage stops available for both these machines

Really appreciate any real world experince or reviews of any of the above to help us make the right decision

thanks in advance for any help

Jack
