Morning all,
I'm having a bit of an internal debate and thought I'd open it up here.
I use Hoffman routers to join most of my frames but have a job coming up where the moulding will be very thin and think an underpinner would be better. The timber is soft and the frames are 250mm square approximately. I have a damaged Morso underpinner that I have considered investing a bit of time repairing, it's been sat in a corner for ages but until now I've had no call to get it going.
Looking online, it seems the wedges/v-nails are difficult to come by and Lion have them advertised as "discontinued once out of stock".
So my question is, are they readily available? Just don't want to waste a load of time and effort only to find I can't find consumables for the machine.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
The Morso underpinner - wedges available?

Actually, please ignore this message...
I've just done some ringing around and it seems they are readily available, if not as widespread as wedges for other machines...
Thanks Anyway!

Have you tried the W0 router bit and keys for the thin mouldings?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I've just looked that up, must be fairly new as I was pretty certain they didn't go below size 1 last I checked.
Food for thought, might be significantly easier than repairing the underpinner!
