Hello,
I have a Minigraf 4 underpinner, a fantastic machine. It has done a lot of work for me and now the wedge driving head is worn. I want to replace it and can buy the spare unit from Simons. I am a very practical person, should this be a fairly easy replacement ? Has anyone out there done it themselves ? The driving head and piston are all in one unit.
Thanks
James

No-one else has replied to this but all I can do is offer encouragement.
I'm assuming you have the handbook -

If so, provided it has a nuts and screws and you have a decent set of allen keys, you should be able to replace any part when available.
The machine was assembled by someone of reasonable intelligence, so dismantling and re-assembling shouldn't be much of a stretch.

Hi thanks but it's all done and dusted. It took me about 15 mins. Four Allen key bolts , old piston out new one in and all done. Of course all air supply etc disconnected while doing the work for safety !
