Mount cutting
Hi all. This frame came in today for re-framing (another “command strip” casualty! The text is really neatly cut. I doubt I be attempting anything similar with my futura!

Re: Mount cutting
In UK it’s mainly Valiani or Gunnar. The entry level Valiani is 17 grand plus VAT, you’ll maybe already have the computer and compressor, if not then maybe another grand.
Used CMCs come up now and again.
Only as good as the businesses and the operators within though - those mount margins don’t look too good to me - a landscape image in a portrait frame - ugh, and the letter and word spacing (kerning?) needs work; what’s a saveever?

Re: Mount cutting
Anyone know who is doing valiani UK now anyway?
There’s a picture of one under machinery on simons website but click on it and there’s no mount cutters at all, computerised or not!
Mainline do them but I don’t think they do the full range???
