Wanted - Hoffmann dovetailer

Post by WannabeFramer »

I'm in the market for a Hoffmann dovetailer and have been keeping an eye on ebay etc. If anyone hears of anything, please give me a shout - the entry level manual one. I'm in mid-Wales and willing to travel 2-3 hours.

Thanks,

I have got one available for sale.

It is the MU3, and is in pretty much new condition. I have owned it from new, and used it for 1 regular shadow-box customer. I reckon I have made about 1000 frames on it in total. I have 'retired' from working for that customer now (they were wanting more and more - and I want to work less and less, so I called the whole thing off!) So it is taking up valuable space in my small workshop.

It comes with (all expensive add ons to the main machine)

Standard fence (inc with machine)
Tall Fence
Extra side fences (v. useful to ensure accurate corners)
5 router bits W1, W1wide, W2, W0 (x2)
Loads of Dovetails (probably last a small framer a year or two!)
Record Power Dust Extractor and hose.

Price for the whole lot £2500 no VAT

Thanks, and it looks great, but a little out of my budget this time. :-)
