I am about to start training my second victim, err... part timer, and I'm trying to be more organised about it this time around.
I've realised while writing a training log for her that, having learned as many do from a combo of differnet teachers, books, this forum and the wider internet, that I refer to the same thing in different ways, possible incorrectly. Please can you lovely people help me with definitions for these mount types?
Platform / envelope / encapsulation mount - are these not all the same thing? (window with a 1mm larger, straigh cut window underneath, no hinges)
Gutter / sink mount - the art of sticking foam board strips to the underside of a window in the vain hope that the evil pastel particles will fall in the gap
Shadow mount - the same as a gutter but with a nicer name? Or does this mean float mounted with the foam recessed to create a 'shadow'?
Cheers,
Megan
