Hello,
I want to sell a range of ready framed pictures with styrene or perspex glass. I already sell frames with that sort of glass that go with my mounted prints. It works well for me because of it's strength and lightness as I take part at shows throughout the year.
Question is... if I want to keep the protective film on the glass in these ready framed pictures for the customer to remove later what is the best way to achieve this? Surely the film will be trapped under the rebate and difficult to peel off. Probably not possible , but any ideas ?

I do this, but these are one offs - I try and avoid acrylic

Thanks. I would normally want to use glass but unfortunately it is impractical for what I do. There is a massive reduction in weight and no breakages now. Customers seem fine with it too.

If you want to frame disposable art, styrene is ok.
If you want to frame better quality items, acrylic is the proper choice. Styrene does yellow with time due to it not being stable in UV light.
