Long time lurker here, I thought it was about time to register and give this forum a cheery wave from the frozen North.

I've been apprenticing with a (now-retired) picture framer of 40+ years standing, and am in the process of building my own business. It has been invaluable to have new and different perspectives on so many things picture-framey via this forum, as well as a whole library of knowledge and info in one easily searchable place: kudos to all concerned for growing and maintaining this community.

I'm sure that I will have questions, so thanks in advance for your patience.

Cheers!

GM

Thank you both for your kind words. I still have a lot to learn, and what I have learned still needs practice; but as I've heard somewhere before, "With passion and persistence, practice makes permanent" (or something like that). It is amazing tho how many times I might run an internet search for something I'm stuck on, and it turns out there's a thread on The Framer's Forum that details exactly my issue and clear instructions (or a lively debate) on the solution.

Speaking of, I'm away to practice The Morso Dance...
