Hi, we currently have a vacancy for a part-time framer.

Experienced Picture Framer

Part Time 2 Days a week (Saturdays Mandatory)

We are seeking an additional part-time picture framer to join us in our busy Twickenham-based store that provides bespoke, conservation-standard picture frames to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a picture framer, meticulous attention to detail and who can work as part of a dynamic team.

The role is a fully encompassing picture framing role from selecting mouldings and mats with the customer to assembling the final frame. Therefore, the candidate should have experience in frame cutting, using a Morso guillotine, mounting cutting on a manual mount cutter, and cutting glass.
You'll need:

The ability to work accurately
Concentration and a methodical approach
Practical and hands-on.
Maths Aptitude
Underpinning Skills
We want somebody:
As a Picture framer, duties will include the following:

Operate machinery to create picture and mirror frames, including
Quality control and package products carefully
Liaise with clients regarding their requirements
Canvas stretching
Mount Cutting
In addition to this any ad-hoc duties as requested by your immediate manager.
