They are really beyond economic restoration, so I am looking for a replacement. I have been though all my catalogues
and nothing near. Anyone know of anything like it. or have acouple of lengths lurking in their workshops?
I doesn't have to be an exact match, just something of roughly the same size and proportion. The ornamentation pattern can be different. (Ignore the liner) It's about 80mm wide, so 6mm bigger or smaller wouldn't matter. Finish is irelevant, in fact the nastier the better as I will be re-doing it. For this reason, one with an expensive finish is not a great idea.
I would have thought there would be lots of this traditional pattern available, but I can't find one. I will even consider plastic.

Beyond economic repair? I guess there is extensive damage to the fancy bits then? (please excuse the technical jargon)
However the basic shape and slip should be easy to reproduce, if only moulding and casting wasn't so time consuming.
