Public transit to Spring Fair

Is there practical, convenient public transit to NEC Spring Fair? I would assume weekdays provide better opportunity to chat with suppliers. Are ther workshops on framing tips? I recall last year's forum discussion expressing disappointment that the framing part of the show was getting smaller. So, still worth going?

There is a rail station and a airport next door.

There's also an excellent (free)shuttle service from the acres of carparks so you don't have to walk too far if you don't want. Just remember where you parked.
One year the carparks were full and they opened up some overflow space which just happened to be in a loading bay right behind the hall with all the framing.

Still had to walk miles back to the entrance to register though.....

its always worth going to spring fair, we stopped, then regretted it,
last year was our first fair in years, and it was good to catch up with what is available to the industry.
i'll be there 2009 for the whole week.
Mary (my mother and who also is my boss) will be thereand my father too.
we'll be looking at the new cassesse underpinner, and some possible new sources for prints etc of scotland.
