If anyone wants a really good Travel / Hotel / Airline web site then look here.
Pilots, cabin crew, and F.T.'s (= Frequent Travellers) post their considerable knowledge and experiences.

But if you want to see the most ridiculous topic ever started then look here...

Please dont start the same here.
What ever happened to our "Count down to ONE"?

Here's another that's good.

Nowdays many airlines give you the opportunity to select your seat when booking on line.
So with this link you can get a better seat, and avoid being over the wing if you want a view, or too near to the toilets.

Thanks but what view at 38000 feet?

Silver Cleave,
I have been very lucky - the framing industry gave me the chance to see much of the world. And some of my lasting memories are from 38.000 feet.-
I have seen Ayers Rock, and it still looks big from 7 miles up
The Grand Canyon - the pilot even dipped each wing to give pass. a better look.
4 hours after leaving Sydney going to S'pore you are still flying over Western Australia and you look down and notice - no roads, no towns, no fields, - just the most wonderful colours of unspoilt nature.
Night flights over India make you realise how much light pollution there is there.
And simply watching the sun rise after a long night flight is an uplifting experience.
Thats why I wanted to share

Its a bummer if the wing blocks your view
