Performance Problems This Evening

Hi all,
Is anyone experiencing problems using the Forum tonight? I'm having the following problem:
1. Click on link.
2. Link page loads as normal.
3. Takes forever before mouse/cursor control is returned to my PC.
Other sites seem OK. Is it just me, or is anyone else having this problem?

Hi John. Thanks for the response: I suspected it might have been a local problem. Broadband here is a bit iffy at times.
Thankfully, it seems to be behaving itself now.

I have performance problems but I don't think they're anything to do with the Internet.

Moglet,
Have you done any speed testing of your internet connection? by doing so, you can analytically see if it is your ISP at fault or not.
Click onto the closest hub.

i've noticed that in the last few days some pages take about ten secs or more to load, but do you hear me complaining?

Btw, it was taking 30 seconds plus/locking up my browser completely at this end.
So far so good this evening...

Something needs fixing somewhere. Yesterday on several attempts I could not even get the forum on the screen, in fact zero bits loading. Sometimes later I managed to log in, but where trying to post to the forum it went dead again after which I could not get any response at all.
It wasn't anything at my end as the grumble was still working. I hope this problem is fixable!

I'm sorry the site has been so slow recently.
The speed issue has been raised with our hosting company, who have acknowledged that the fault may lie with them. So hopefully it will be sorted soon.
