Money Laundering Regulations

Post by foxyframer »

Our accountants have just sent us a letter requiring original photograph I.D. eg: drivers' license or passport and proof of address such as council tax or utility bill.

Accountants now are obliged to obtain identity and addresses of all clients and to ensure, on a regular basis, that these records are kept up to date. Even, like us who have been with them for donkeys years.

Just a bit more 'big brother and 1984' ?

Accountants and cell phones?

Outrageous! They are trying to put the poor drug dealers and prostitutes out of business.

So much for free enterprise.
