I wouldn't use anything else. Well worth the money.

Replacement felt pads are available although not advertised in the catalogue. Somebody gave me the tip to cover the felt pad with Lion foam pads (the little square ones) to minimise the risk of getting glue on the felt. They work fine and are easily replaceable.

The magnetic head needs to be pushed quite a long way forward so that it's aver the moulding but it easily slides backwards and forwards so that you can line it up - either over the wedge position or over an appropriate part of the moulding. I've had a few mouldings that are so soft that even the felt pad dents them. In those cases a piece of mountboard between the head and the moulding solves the problem.

Once I'd tried using the Lion head once I never went back to the standard Cassese heads.

I echo Mikes comments.

A superb addition to the Cassesse and the white sponge buffers so easy to change.

On occasions we had to use an eraser underneath, when presented with some difficult profiles, just to stop the sharp corner marking the moulding.

I've got one of these gizmos, too, but decided not to use it because of the marking problems. Thanks for the tips about how to overcome the problems.

Lately, I started using it again to pin fillets. It's ideal for them.

I ordered one of these when I got my new CS88 and have found it really useful...by sliding the head in and out I can accommodate all the mouldings I work with. I'd certainly recommend one!

Thanks everybody, with such coments it would be silly not to try one. My order is in :)
