Try Peter Stanlick at Framer's Equipment in Northampton. Alternatively Tabmaster in Leicester, they are having a mega clearance of demo and 2nd hand stuff.

Hi Deepjoy

I have a Fletcher 3100 - Second Hand Virtually brand new, hopefully coming in, in the next week. Its going to go out at £650 plus the VAT and delivery. Got a couple of people interested, but nothing firm at the moment. Drop me a mail if your interested, i've got some photos if you need to see it. tim@tabmasteruk.com

I am still in the market for a Fletcher 3100.

If anyone wishes to reply to this post and advise of the availability of a Fletcher, would you please give me the first chance to consider your offer before putting the product out to general tender. If you would prefer to open the offer of such a machine to the whole forum, please post your advertisement in you own post.

I will be delighted to offer what I think the product is worth based on age and condition and if you are not happy, I will of course understand your decision to offer it for sale elsewhere.

Thank you

Purely out of curiosity, is there any particular reason why you want a 3100 vs (say) an Excalibur 5000, Deepjoy? :?

Hi Moggy

I like the simple engineering and build of the Fletcher. The tool change I see as no hassle in comparison to the 5000's rotating tool head, It is after all approx £300 less in price than the 5000, but the main reason is the height restriction in my garage. Even with the Fletcher, I will end up working at a slightly lower working height than I would prefer.

I liked him in porridge too.

For the money I still may consider the Onyx 90 - the only thing it does not cut is MDF.

Thank you for interest.

You asked openly and someone replied in the same manner, whassa da problem?

If you wanted first dibs you should've asked for PMs in your initial post. Hope you find one at the right price anyhow.

'When the ducks are young the beaks are soft'

OK so I did not cross the "T's ' or dot the 'I's'. My problem is, if I order a meal, I am not looking to share it with whole restaurant. Call it greed or just common sense, it was obvious what I was looking for open or otherwise.

Lesson learned.

OIC! :) I like to understand different buying decisions. One can learn a lot from the reasoning of others.
I liked him in porridge too.

Apologies again to Deepjoy. I should have PM'd instead of advising on the site that I had one. :Slap:

As soon as one comes available again. If you're still in the market Deepjoy....you'll be the first on my list....With a phone call or PM this time!!

Blame lies with Ormond, Keith: I picked up the term up from our dear Aussie friend. :)
