I found the salary range a bit constricting :head:

But more importantly GESSO dare we enquire as to why you are banned from Yorkshire, and who banned you?

Cant say much still but it involved a Ferret, two homing pigeon's and a thuppence bag of Lyon's midget gems, back in 71'. Mum never forgave me.

I have learnt that sweets like TV programmes are regional, ie back in the seventies Tiswas never got shown up in Blackpool (where I was dragged up) it was only when we relocated to Norfolk in 78 that my mid teens was blessed (and my Mum cursed) with that life affirming revelation, (same goes for Mork & Mindy but that was carp in my opinion). So it can be said for midget gems (not the carp bit though).
There are variations on a theme but the local alchemist who made his own brand of the holy gem must have summoned up all the cunning and devilish dichotomy of something so pure yet hideously perverse.
Every individual manifestation of that confectionery tempter seduced its host, disguising itself , morphing into all that you would want from a gum and more! My dad said they reminded him of Ester Williams, my Mum, Doris Day (always worried about my Mum) while Me? It was Rachel Welsh and Andy Williams (must of got that form my mum's side of the family)flying a Sopwith pup. Arrg! The agony, the ecstasy, the tooth decay.

And that you see is why Midget gems but more to the point the lions M/G's. They had the power to turn this poor boys head... okay I admit I've 'done' the odd Maynard in my time but I never swallowed, people will always want to experiment but with Lion's, orange really wasn't the only fruit.

Maybe..when i'm able. When my eye stops twitching and I can freely and openly lay all this to rest :sweating: ....I'll be able to really open up and tell you about.........
