After years of deliberation I've finally took the decision to sell my existing operation and move into manufacturing hand finished mouldings.
For years I've been asked to create finishes to order and now I 'm going to see if the idea floats.
If it doesn't then at least I won't have to frame another badly made embroidery again

Problem this year is getting bees - no on has any spare.

Yes, I knew its was pretty bad.

They were talking about bees on Radio 4 this morning. Seems the govt has finally realised there's an economic dimension to a lack of bees and has allocated some money for research into why bees are disappearing.

Yeah I heard that too but unlike the banks, chucking money at this isnt going to solve anything......hold on. No! in that case it is just like the banks............... schilts! we are in trouble!

A framing workshop for £4000 sounds like a bargain.

If you'd throw in living accommodation with that I'd be really tempted.

Now includes camping bed!

I think the climate change from lovely Wales to Norfolk wouldnt be a good move .....never make a good salesman will I?

But there's be less rain and fewer midges!

One camp bed would be a little crowded as I'd be bringing two dogs, two donkeys and a wife.

Been digging foundation for the conservatory out the back and i've had a constant line of bees coming into the trench and taking soil away talk about hardcore!

They collect nectar, pollen and propolis - all from plants. Perhaps one of these items in the soil?
Are you sure they are honeybees?
Have heard of "mining" bees that seal their nests with soil, but I thought these were solitary.
