Having always had a Keencut mount cutter and board cutter I've paid little attention to FT topics in the past, but if the service from whoever distributes FT over here is even half as good as Keencut, you're laughing!

Hi Dermot, I did the exact same search and thought i had found it but thats the Glass and Plexi cutting post, (I already have this one) its the Mat cutting pillar post i'm looking for, thanks for looking.

Just like to thank everyone for their help in this matter, I'm new to framing and mounting, I'm just setting myself up a small printing, framing, studio, just small scale for local area, but i'm on a very thight budget as i'm a student at the moment (allbeit a mature one), and as part of my ket I bought a Fletcher 8460 at a very giveaway price, not seen much use, and i'm just reconditioning it, but its missing the Mat Cutting Pillar Post, and I will be wanting to cut foam and Mat board on it.

I spoke to Peter, He's sorted me out a Mat Cutting Pillar Post and some other parts I needed, they should arrive any day now.

I needed to get one for a 8400 I had about seven years ago and Lion had it in stock.

BTW, have you seen the price for the mount cutting blades for this machine! They are not cheap!

Also be very careful when changing the blades not to lose the little screw which fixes the blade to the pillar post. It's an american thread and not easy to replace.

Most blades are made by blade manufacturers, have just found blades a lot cheaper here:
