Rang company, they said theyd send another, they are always really reliable so fully expected next day or day after delivery
due delivery day...nothing turns up...
call company, it hasnt left the depot...That morning I had PROMISED irate customer that frame would be ready for them that day (Fathers day deadline and all that)
Before dreaded calling of customer thought I'd see if company could discount me on the soon to arrive moulding, so that i may discount the irate customer as a gesture of good will/ salvage my reputation!! The most they could discount me was £4.00, I was hoping for, say, £20.00. "We dont do that as a company" was the reply, fine says I... They said theyd put it on a before 9.30am delivery today.
I was in the shop from 6.30 am just in case, parcel arrives at 09.10...
And what did I get?
2 parcels, strapped together, 2 lengths instead of one
I called the company as i obviously didnt want to pay for the second one
she says..."it,s under £40 worth so we cant collect it, can you dispose of it"
"I'm sure I can dispose of it", says I!!! £18.00 worth of moulding...
Customer got picture, all was well
I wonder how much that cost the company? two lenghts of moulding, two before 9.30 deliverys,
