If you are using broadband with W98 you will not be able to run Google Earth, however www.maps.google.com is available to you and quite stunning.
And it will get even better as high definition coverage increases.

Anybody been able to master NASA's Earth Wind? http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/
Doesn't seem to be as intuitive to use as Google Earth.

google earth is stunning - microsoft have just introduced a similar service. I was most impressed when I looked at my area on Google Earth that my business comes up when i searched for Picture Framers. Apparently very usefull when going abroad on holiday - you can check out the proximity to the sea - building sites etc - but dont rely upon the images being today - they can be some months old.
You do need a fairly good graphics card!
