Wood Stain Pens

Hi everyone,
This is my first post.
I have recently started to do my own framing and I need to find somewhere that stocks wood stain pens so that I can finish off the small area of wood that shows sometimes in a mitre joint. Does anyone know of a supplier in the Nottingham / Derby area or a good online store in the UK?
While I have your attention, does anyone know of a good moulding and / or glass supplier in the same areas?

Many thanks

Martyn

Lion do two sets, very useful and I now colour the inside of each joint before pinning. Better than trying to correct after. Also use the gold and silver pens, again from Lion.

Wessex keep the Liberon colours. Leamington Spa will be your local branch.

Lion do the Edding Pens in brown and black.

Try Mitrecraft in Lincoln for your glass and mouldings, I am sure they deliver in your area. Wessex will do all your glass requirements as they are now merged with Glass and Mirror but they are a little pricey on mouldings.

Get all the brochures/price lists and work out where you can buy best but check delivery charges as it may be better to go with one supplier and get delivery FOC.

John.

Thank you all for your replies, I have checked out some of the websites you suggested and now just have to sort out prices, delivery etc. Again many thanks.

Just an update for you:

I have ordered the Wood Tones set from Lion, as well as a few other bits and bobs. Again, many thanks to those who replied.

Hi and Welcome Martyn. :D

I'll confirm that Lion are the boys for framing periferals. The range of stuff they sell is HUGE. Everything from a double mitre saw to a rivet.

Ashworth and Thompson are good firm, although I haven't brought from them for yonks. It just occured to me that they are on the right side of Nottingham for you.

Do the Liberon pens react with PVA? I've tried using a couple of black felt tip pens to colour cut edges when joining black moulding but in both cases the ink changed colour when I applied the wood glue.
