Someone loves me!

Had a call from a lady this morning - put through to me in the workshop.

"Hi - you framed a poster of Vegas for me in August - remember?"

"Hmm - sorry, no - we get lots of stuff like that"

"Well - you said you'd been there this year and so had I and we spent some time identifyng all the hotels etc and (blah blah blah)"

"Oh yes, I do remember .... so ....?"

"Well - I've got some more stuff to frame - do you close for lunch"?

"No"

"Will you be there at lunchtime"?

"Well, I'm pretty much always here, but if I'm not there's two others who can take your order"

"No - I want to see you ..... about something"

"OK - I'll be here"

OMG - what have I done now - I bet her sister had the same poster framed and I charged her three quid less - or something.

Anyway, in she comes at lunchtime - she'd been back to Vegas/The States - 2 identical posters to be framed just the same as the last one, plus a decoupage of Brooklyn Bridge, an old photo of Brooklyn Bridge and 4 or 5 ready made frames with photos for me to make fit with mounts.

All through I'm thinking 'why did she specifically need to see me'?

So, once I'd completed the orders she produces a THIRD Vegas poster and said "This one is for you - you said that you'd wished you'd bought a poster like this when you were there - so I got an extra one for you when I went back"

Bugger me! Someone shopping in the Vegas Stratosphere thought of li'l ole me in Angmering.

Wonder if she's married - must be minted!
