anyone in southern england - iss goes over at 18.45 (5 mins time) 81 degrees hih south o head at 18.48 have a look wait for a few mins let me know

well i missed it - too much cloud ! it will be back later at 20.22 wsw but only 25 degrees high! tomorrow it will track 19.11 to 19.16 at 54 degrees - higher and nearer to 19.11 in the west country.

ok saw the 20.22 pass nice and clear! will look again tomorrow - will be very bright magnitude -2.9 as this thing gets bigger it gets brighter and brighter - ill post to give an idea.

excellent - from jolly good framers link to heavens above - you can work out the EXACT time the iss will be over your location!! - great stuff thanks JGF - and a JG astro man as well.

ok chaps and chapesses tonight in the southern england between 7.10 and 7.15 pm (bout an hour from now) loook ssw and 54 degrees altitude. in the west country nearer to 10 past

Absolutely incredible.

We live down at The Lizard, on the cliffs, Eastern side looking out over Falmouth Bay.

Superb cloud free night. Visibility excellent. No stray or ambient lighting to interfere.

As predicted - 1913 a BIG bright light appears directly over us (so it seemed) and tracked SSW.
It was visible for some 4 plus minutes.

yes - tonight managed to see it better than last night - albeit through the clouds - was nice and bright tonight! where you are thelizard is a superb location for this - there is no mistaking it when it comes over. If you go to the heavens above site you can set up your own personal location and predict all the passes - its very accurate

forgot to mention there is another advantage of setting your own position - iridium flares - when a passing sattelite reflects to sun down to your location for a few seconds !! its a site to behold like a bright flare in the sky. daft b*****s like me try to photo them!! The accuracy of the predictions is amazing - wish id paid more attention to math at school!
