Sprays are going to be your cheapest option... and messy.
I wouldn't use 'glue' as it could cockle the poster, but then again so could spraying depending on what the poster is made from.

Your best and safest bet is to use a Hotpress... I'm sure there must be someone near to you who could do you a 'deal'

another option, not ideal would be to buy self adhesive board and stick the posters down to that. although ideally you should run it through a cold press laminator

We used a repositionable (low-tach) self-adhesive daler mountboard for three A2 posters, rolled out with a hand roller. Superb results, delighted customer.

PMA from Lion - no rollers or machinery required - just a spatula and some release film that comes with each roll, and it remains re-positionable right up until you decide to make it permanent.

I'll second 3M's PMA.

I mainly frame photographs (both inkjet and traditional silver prints), I stumbled across PMA years ago and have since used it almost exclusively whenever a print needs mounting. Miles easier, cleaner, and more predictable than sprays or glues, plus it's acid free and re-positionable. I've never had any problems with yellowing, delamination, bubbling, etc.

The only downside I can think of for PMA is that it comes in fairly long rolls so there's a pretty hefty initial charge. For an absolute one-off job it might be worth considering a low tack adhesive backing from Daler or others. In fact I use the 16" PMA (I think there's a wider one as well) but for the rare occasions when I need something wider I'll use a Daler board. The Daler boards work well enough, but they're not quite as versatile, nor quite as repositionable, as 3M PMA.
