What's the most unique item in your workshop? The item that you are sure no one else has in theirs.

I’ve got a Lucus RF4 Magneto to fit a 1949 Fordson Major E27N Tractor.

What have you got?
(the wife/husband, pets and children are disqualified )

Best I can do is a dartboard, complete with oche (pron 'okee' - the rubber mat with throwing distances marked) and a load of (disconnected) bakelite light switches and power sockets.

I've got a genuine Morso slide-hammer.

We have a lump of wood 5 x 10 x 32 inches.

Don't know what it's for or where it came from, but for its size it is surprisingly light.

I should throw it out I know, but the day after I do, it's virtually guaranteed that I will have a need for a piece of wood exactly that size and weight.

A propeller from a converted 1918 biplane (the credentials of which have taken years to qualify), which will have to start living outside in the garden as I’m fed up of tripping over the damned thing.

I have a damaged propellor from a 1970's Piper Cherokee. It's damaged 'cos it was on the front of the plane when I crashed it. I have plans to frame it! Should make an interesting case study for the new website eventually....

We have a kids "den" made out of the cardboard boxes Arqadia send their mountboard packs in. It is decorated up with various drawings and notices by our two boys and they play and around it and in it. It does get draped with camo netting when they bring it over from home as well. We also have their squadrons of Airfix planes and Lego toys as well as a large Brio train set which regularly seems to get dive bombed by Lancaster bombers much to the amusement of our customers.

I hasten to add that the boys play area is not on the floor of the workshop but on an upper storage area to keep them out from under our feet after school and in the holidays!

Lancaster bombers cannot dive bomb, they can only bomb horizontally from height.

a rather sugestive of the male nether region's looking "universal Log" I found about 14 years ago at cosmeston medieval village on the firewood pile used it as a seat with a sheepskin on top as my camping stool sank in the mud, & has been used as an anvil , armour former, window displays, stool & small coffee table ever since also a very old bog roll holder made of metal in the shape of a lily sort of flower, at present complete with a loo roll of gordon brown to blow my nose on, Yes I could wipe my backside on his face , but that is a very nasty thought
