How to frame prints without a mount?

How to frame prints without a mount?
I have 13 A2 size limited edition prints to be framed without a mount and without touching the glass so that the edges can be seen. My first thought would be to cut slits in the backing board and feed conservatin gummed tape through onto the back of the prints in all four corners. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

A fillet such as Fremespace® is used. This will keep an air space between the glass and the image. http://www.frametek.com/
As far as the hinges............ pre adhesived tapes are not true conservation, no matter what the manufactures says or writes. Either wheat paste and mulberry hinges (or equiv) or mylar photo corners should be used.

Hi Coxby - nice picture - youve changed a bit since we last met!
whilst I would agree that in a perfect world you would use perfect materials when your customer dictates the way that something is finished then I would compromise to achieve the required result - 4 pieces of folded conservation grade tape would do it - and it would be a compromise on best practice and it may not give you the best of results depending upon the quality of the paper used in the print. Framespace works to space the glass - as does a very thin mount or a slip used behind the glass. I would be very concerned that the image wouldnt stay flat and would go to some lengths to explain my doubts to the customer.
