Terry: "It's just not right" Rafa Benitez is said to be in discussion with Sir Alex Ferguson about forming a coalition Premiership team in a bid to squeeze out Chelsea.
The two red teams plan to share their points and the title. Rumours are that the Liverpool manager will be offered a seat on the bench and that Jose Torres and Steven Gerrard will be given prominent positions in the team.
The FA have admitted that there is no rule preventing such a coalition from being formed. Spokesman Justin Timberlake said "We never thought any of the teams would try it, so we didn't bother writing a rule about it. Well, we can't cover everything can we?"
Chelsea are said to be furious about the proposed coalition. John Terry said "The football season cannot end in such confusion. In football there must be a winner and a loser. You cannot just join together and pretend that you have won. Sir Alex Ferguson is just desperate to cling on to power. He will stop at nothing."
