Hello Everyone

Post by booboo »

Hi All

Just like to introduce myself -

I've been framing for around 6 years now and along with my wife have been running a picture framing/art business in East Yorkshire for the past 18 months. We started this business up from new and considering the economic climate, things are doing fairly well - a bit quite at times, but overall I think we can give ourselves a pat on the back. Some say a recession is the best time to start up a business as it makes for a very succesful outcome. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hoping to share good ideas with you all.

Hi and welcome.

I started in the last recession at the start of the 90's and I'm still here. If you can survive now you must be doing something right so it should only get better.

Good luck.

You'll have a good time, it's a really good aquarium. Don't feed the sharks any kids though or they'll throw you out.....I tried!

Hey booboo

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not too far away from you, just up t' road abit. I have one cousin who lived in Brough until very recently, and two others who are still local (North Ferriby) My family have strong connections with Hull, and although not a Yaaarkshireman born and bred (I was born less than a mile north of the Tees :) ) I'm thoroughly enjoying my new lease of life in East Yorks!

Hey there Tim, you handsome devil :D

Born north of the Tees! - does this mean that you are a 'Chimp Choker' ? :D I worked up in Boro many years ago - dirty old town but I loved it! I'm actually in Welton so you're only about 20 mins away, maybe you should drop in sometime for a brew ? - will send you a pm.
