WTB - MDF Backing Boards

Further to my other post in the general discussion area about cutting boards...

Can anyone with a good facility (i.e better than me cutting boards by hand with a steel rule and stanley blade!) quote me for cutting the following:

Qty 64 of 9"x12" (2mm thick)

According to Lion's MDF sheet it should get exactly 16 boards from one sheet with no waste.

Don't forget postage (unless you're near enough for me to collect (Redditch, Worcs))

Edges must be neat and no need for any struts or wings - just plain.

Either reply in thread or send a PM if you can help.

Thanks

FJ

FJ

see my reply to other post

Also bear in mind that when you cut boards on a saw you loose the width of the sawblade each cut (typically 2mm) so on a board 48 inches wide you will not get, say 4 x 12 inch pieces

Hi FJ

As Ian said on the other topic, probably best to get Glass & Mirror to cut to size, which you can order through Wessex.

Or another idea, if you want to supply the MDF sheets, and are passing my workshop (WR11 7QB), just pop in and I will gladly cut them to size on my Keencut excalibur for you, it will only take a few minutes.
But if it is a bit out of the way, I will work out a price tomorrow and PM you the cost to supply and post them.

Richard
