Is it paper interleaved glass!!!
Who is your supplier, are they cutting large sheets down to the size you ordered or is the glass in the size it was shipped out of the factory.
Some how the glass got damaged when it was handled, this generally happens when the glass is packed, moved for shipping by your supplier, cut on a dirty bench (dirty with shreds of glass on it) it may be you how do you cut your glass.

There is a good chance if the glass is cut to 3 x 4 by your local supplier that they are doing it on a bench that is dirty with glass pieces which then causes the the sheets that you get to get scratched as the move the glass on to the bench and then move it off the bench.
This would not happen in the factory where the glass is made as the factory use suction lifter to move glass around from the end of the furnace line to when it is put into the timber cases for shipping.
Give me a call on 00353 87 2575059 and I can talk you through how glass is move around via the manufacture and the suppliers you get the glass from.
