In addition to Robo's suggestion, you could try phoning the UK agent for Cassese and speak with tech support. They might have some ideas for you to try!

I had a wedge jammed in the little block that they slide up and through. Just a quick disassemble, removal of said offending wedge, a good clean and rebuild ......et voila!
Thanks for the speedy responses anyhow.
As for the pub, well that sounds perfect, around about now

Prevention is better than cure with these machines. It is better to take the block apart regularly clean out all the gunk and smear a tiny bit of grease (which should have come with a new machine) in the V. This will make for a smother running. If you don't you will end up knackering the block and pin, which I did many years ago. Also the chute springs get worn which can cause problems and also damage the spring carriage. You will end up doing what I did opting for an expensive 3099 which costs a lot if they go wrong (which It has but still the best machine on the market bar the newer version obviously) .
As I said prevention is better than cue for all machines and a little maintenance goes along way. Have you thought of getting an engineer in to service your machines? Neil Stout is my personal recommendation always very helpful, he usually fix more problems over the phone than actually coming out. He will also set you straight on what maintenance you should be doing.
The last thing you want is for machinery to break during hristmas week when you have a back log as log as your arm waiting to be done....Oh was confusing Christmas today with Christmases of old.
