Underpinner problem

Can anyone indentify my underpinner? I need a manual or something as it's just run out of V nails and the strips I've loaded are just jamming. Only way round it is to load them one at a time .... not very productive. I thought the V nails would be pretty much standard or maybe I need specific ones for this machine which is another reason to try and identify it.

Thanks in anticipation, Alan.

Hi Alan, and welcome.
No idea what that underpinner is, but what wedges are you using?
Have you got them the right way up? If they're glued together they are glued at the top.
Sure someone will pop up who has an underpinner just the same

The wedges I've tried came with a Logan Pro-Joiner and were loaded individually on that. They are 'glued' on the 'sharp' side and Iv'e been loading them uppermost. From the two replies so far it would appear I need the right V nails for this machine. Lets hope its not too ancient and you can still get them!
Thanks again.

Hi and Welcome Alan.
It looks like a Euro, although the stand is unfamiliar. In any case Casesse brand 'UNI' wedges work great in mine.

Hi Alan
The underpinner was made by Thorpe International who are no longer trading. The inner parts are the same as the Euro 8001/2 underpinners.
Standard universal wedges work best. Some time you need to push the push rod as the spring has probably lost its springyness. Also, I think that machine has an adjuster underneath the wedge tray that you should adjust for different sizes of wedges.

Thanks for the help. I will get myself some wedges on the information given. Hopefully I can get a small quantity to try out first.
