I have a MicroStitch T-Tag gun that I use when framing shirts.
http://www.lionpic.co.uk/product/MicroS ... 10157.aspx I have both the 4.4mm and 5.4mm tags but they seem quite fragile. Can anyone advise of any longer (stronger?) tags that work with this gun or what gun and tag combinations you use?
Thanks, Tim

We use the micro one for some jobs but the fine fabric gun also sold by Lion for shirts, we get the t tags from a company called Morplan. We use 7mm and 11mm try
www.morplan.com I think they call them t end nylon attachments, they also sell the guns.

Thanks for that Roger. Will the 7 and 11 mm tags not work in the MicroStitch gun?
The world of "attachments" appears to be a complex one. Mk 1, 2, and 3 guns, standard and micro spaced attachments. Have now also found these
http://www.cdcuk.com/Shop/Products/3226 ... Nylon.aspx. Presume they are the same as the Morplan ones.
The trouble is, being a compulsive researcher, I have now lost any savings in time spent with Google. What price knowledge?

The fragility of the tags is a fairly important protective element - the tags break rather than the material tare if the object is put under stress. Same principle you would apply when stitching a textile to a supporting board.
