Valiani is launching the New Libra machine (2 heads + 2 station).

We are very proud to launch our new Libra, Dual Head Dual Workstation, machine.

Careful market research has identified the real need for a machine like the Libra and following many requests from our distributors it is now in production….. and naturally we are ready to receive orders.

Adding to our already wide range of machines the Libra is targeted at companies with medium volume production that require robust and reliable equipment and who do not want to change the head manually for 90° cuts.

It is fitted with 2 independent Interchangeable Head holders that do not need to stop between different plotting and multiple combination processes. This allows the customer to choose the head combination best suited for their cutting project.

The heads are compatible with the award winning Valiani Interchangeable Head System & packaging tools.

Able to cut on two work stations it has the added flexibility to work on one oversize 1,7 metre (67”) table. The maximum cutting size is 1250 x 1700mm (49,2 x 67”).

When using two work stations each can cut 800 x1250mm (32 x 49,2”) allowing space for operator handling between stations.

The new button clamping system offers additional versatility to the range of materials that can be cut to the edge with zero waste. Materials that can be cut include Mat board, corrugated board, foam board and Gator board.

Was this the one on show at the Sydney Framing Show??? If so it was certainly generating a lot of interest.

As the photographs show, the LIBRA was one of many Valiani CMC's on demonstration. By the look of the other images, all the demonstration booths look very professional.

Then again Steve, you were there, so you can tell us more.
Spring Fair - take note....

The stands at the show were indeed very professional & "jam packed" with equiment too. Valiani / Wizard / Gunnar all had plenty of machines on show & the use of the big TV screens you can see in the shots above - which were hooked up to cameras - meant everyone could see what was going on in close up.

Congrats to Frank from Profile magazine & our own Ormond from the PPFA on a fantastic job!!! We had wall to wall customers all day - every day - brilliant promotion guys.

Other equipment on show included a massive presentation from Cassese - along with Morso / Alpha / Pilm / Framers Corner / Brevetti / Fletcher / Keencut / Epson & Hot Press too...

On the "posh" glass front - Tru Vue seemed the biggest draw - with great show discounts & lots of orders beig placed on the day.

The mouldings in Oz mainly come from Asia & I did see a lot of stuff that we don't see over here - The Megawood Larson-Juhl range was awesome & would have taken hours to view in full detail.

As for competition prizes - get this - Saturday saw a guy win a trip to Vegas - with all the trimmings & on Sunday the top prize in the free draw was an Epson 9900 - serious dollar value for dropping a card in a box!!!
