Electroluminescent Lighting

Post by markw »

Noticed an advertisement for Electroluminescent Lighting. Apparently the material is as thin as a credit card and emits a strong flat light source. Anybody else seen or heard anything about this stuff in the UK.

Had a quick Google, Mark.

It looks like an interesting material. Are you thinking of using it within a frame to backlight the subject?

John - the product caught my eye - there are already companies using it as in frame lighting - I shall keep looking for a uk supplier.

Sounds interested, but has anyone checked up on the spectra of the emitted light to make sure it is safe with art. Apart from that, it sounds almost to good to be true!
Cheers,
Mark
