Morso - VMM interchangeability

Post by kandihar1 »

Hello, this is my first post but I have been a viewer of the ads section for some months. I am about to start up in business as a framer working from home. I now have a reconditioned s/h Morso F and find I could do with a left-hand arm. Reading the many posts helping Dave Crocker sort out exactly what he needed to make his suitable for sale, although he didn’t need a left arm, I got the impression that a VMM arm would fit a Morso. I rang Framers Corner and asked if the VMM left arm would fit a Morso and was told they were unsure. Obviously I don’t blame them for avoiding saying outright that they are compatible but it’s clear that if the VMM will fit, at only £36 inc carriage, it’s a much cheaper proposition than a Morso arm.
Can anyone advise whether and how a VMM left arm fits a Morso F, please?
