Hey Rolf,
If Simon & the boys at Belfast put as much work into their day as the boys in Glasgow did today - then it will be a good one. Poor little Kevin & I were bombed all day - but it was really good fun & from my point of view it is nice to have so many new products to show & talk about.
We look forward to seeing you

Re: Belfast - Ashworth & Thompson Ltd - Open Day.
Just back from the Belfast A&T branch open day where we were made to feel welcome by Simon Clarke and his team.
Managed to have a chat with the very helpful and informative Kevin, a mine of information on framing machinery.
The morning was so well attended that I thought for a while that I would not get to consult the oracle himself, Steve Goodall. The crowd around Steve must have been three or four deep and I had to elbow my way to the front in order to have a word. (Sorry guys, I was in a pressing hurry!)
Congratulations A&T on such a good turnout.

John beat me to it, but then I do have a longer drive back to the shop.
A big thank you to Simon, Steve and Kevin and the rest of the staff at A&T Belfast. It was a pretty good turnout whilst I was there and as John says, Steve was a very popular attraction. Also got lots of top tips on machine maintenance from Kevin that will keep me busy later on. Well done A&T.

Re: Belfast - Ashworth & Thompson Ltd - Open Day.
I just wanted to add my thanks to Simon & his team for putting on such a successful "drop in day". Kevin was the "real star" & in between my busy moments I love to listen to his words of wisdom - he really is probably the most knowledgeable guy in the industry when it comes to - "what to get" - when starting up. I have learned a lot from him in the last twenty years - he is my mentor!!!
We cannot forget the customers though - for without them Kev & I would just spend all day talking to each other
So thank you to everyone who came along!!! We never have a signing in book or an official count for these events - just a warm welcome & a coffee - but we estimate a similar result to the Edinburgh gig - around 40 companies.
Also - big thanks to Forum members who made it along (John Mc & that man form Pelican) - it is always nice to have a "gossip" off screen
I will be in touch about that machine
