GUNNAR F1 CMC FOR SALE

Post by Gesso&Bole »

I have for sale my Gunnar F1 Computerised Mountcutter.

All in excellent condition, and working perfectly. Some scratches and wear and tear. This machine was first supplied by Sarah Osborne of Gunnar, and she knows the machine, and will (I'm sure) confirm that it all works as it should. I would highly recommend that the purchaser has Sarah, or David from Gunnar to come out and give training, and to calibrate the machine for the mount board that you use.

I can give basic training, but admit that I am out of my depth when it comes to tracing out designs etc.

This model is the F1, so it does not have the hybrid head, although the machine is exactly the same, and can be upgraded to the hybrid head should you so wish.

The machine has its original stand included, but I have used it on top of a plan chest you can have the chest included if you so wish

Also included is the computer and monitor. This is not a very high spec pc, but it has only ever been used for the CMC, and not connected to the internet.

These items are in Derby. Obviously you would need a van to transport.

Price for the whole package listed above £6,200 + VAT

If it helps, I may be prepared to spread the payment over 2 or 3 months.

Hi Jim, are you upgrading to another Gunnar ? I assumed you could put a Hybrid head on this model, just being nosey :D
I bumped into Lyn Hall last week at the London Guild meeting and she was very excited about the Hybrid Gunnar she'd just purchased,
this was a bit of a surprise as she has always been known for her creative mouncutting using a manual mountcutter. I would have thought she would be the last person to be singing the praises of a CMC but she said it had given her a new enthusiasm for her work
cheers,
Adam/Bagpuss

Hi Adam

Not, upgrading, selling because I'm not framing anymore. I am concentrating on FramingMentor, and launching a new web based training and mentoring service at The Spring Fair.

Yes this model can be upgraded to the Hybrid head.

I think the Hybrid head is about £3000. If you want to know exactly, PM me, and I will give you Sarah's phone number at Gunnar

Yes, compressor could go separately

Yes. Still available, although I gather I have under-estimated the cost of upgrading to a Hybrid. It's nearer to £6000 than £3000 apparently.
