Hi
Any ideas on how to frame a metal football emblem?
This is for a Liverpool metal emblem about 10" high by 6" wide with gaps in it. Customer wants a red background as you would expect.
Would you frame flat onto red background board? Thought about raising above board but this leaves a shadow through the emblem so I don't think will work.
any ideas appreciated?
regards
steve

I'd stay clear of the red background, they tend to look crappy behind similarly coloured metal, plastic, etc objects. If you could find a red cored black mat board, you could do a v groove. Black background, two red cuts, slightly raised. Lots of frames go with that look. May even look classy, even though it's Liverpool.
