Excaliber 5000 Blades, plain or special?

Post by Howey »

Good morning. I wonder if someone could advise me? I've just purchased a used Excaliber 5000. Are the blades just plain old Stanley knife blades or are they something special? Your advice on this and any tips on using it would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks

Morning Howey

Stanley blades will be fine.

The important thing to know, if you have just purchased a second-hand Keencut, is that Keencut are very helpful indeed, and will provide you with help and advice, and in many cases new bushes etc free of charge. If you are stuck, just give them a call.

Also, if you go onto their website www.keencut.co.uk then you will be able to download the instruction manual for your new piece of kit

Thanks for that. I think it's hardly been used and the mint condition instruction book is with it. Is there any way to check the wheel cutters in the top head?
Once again, thanks for your help.
